In the above sentences, the adjectives these and that point out the toys and book respectively.
Adjectives which point out which person or a thing is spoken of are Demonstrative Adjectives.
Demonstrative Adjectives answer the question 'Which?'
Which toys? These toys.
Which book? That book.

Remember:- In the case of singular nouns this and that are used.
In the case of plural nouns these and those are used.
